~New~ 2010 OEM STOCK RULES
This OEM Stock Class is designed to entice new drivers/competitors to participate in the sport of oval dirt track racing. This class is strictly for fun and should be an economically affordable class of racing for all participants. Drivers must be at least 13 years of age or older and may be male or female. This OEM Stock Class gives a family a great opportunity to get involved in the sport of racing. Gator Motorplex will pay 100% back to the drivers that participate in the OEM Stock for the night of the event. For example, if 15 cars participate and each driver pays $25 to get in the gate the total purse will be $375.

General OEM Stock Rules
Unaltered VIN plate must be on vehicle.2-seater vehicles allowed.
Car must be completely factory stock. No aftermarket parts of any kind allowed.No ballasts or weight transferring devices.
ENGINE RULES
Engines must be stock for year make, and model of vehicle and in the original OEM stock location with OEM motor mounts.
No super charged, gasoline turbo charged, or rotary engines. Only diesel engines may be turbo charged.
Fuel Injection or Throttle Bodies are allowed if they are original OEM equipment for that year, make, and model as per the factory records according to the VIN number plate.
Must have the original factory stock exhaust manifold for year, make, and model of car. The only alteration to the exhaust system is you may remove the catalytic converter.
TRANSMISSION - DRIVE TRAIN
Transmission weather it be automatic or manual must be the factor stock OEM for the year, make, and model for that car as per the VIN number plate.
Transmission must have all forward and reverse factory stock gears functioning in proper order.
Differential must remain factory stock and cannot be locked.
Driveshaft must be painted white for safety.
TIRES - WHEELS - BRAKES
Tires must be DOT approved and same size and dimension as came from factory stock. All four tires must be the same size.
Each tire must have a minimum air pressure of 25-PSI when going through TECH. following the race.
Longer wheel studs will be allowed, and larger lug nuts are recommended.
All wheels must be factory stock OEM (diameter & width) for that year, make, and model of car as per the VIN number plate.
No wheel spacers allowed. No racing or performance enhancing wheels allowed
All four brakes must be in proper working order and cannot be modified in any way.
ROLLCAGE
Minimum of Four (4) point cage with three (3) driver door bars mandatory. 1.5” .095 tubing minimum. (3) passenger door bars mandatory if passenger is present. (See Day Motorsports Link)BUMPERS
OEM Bumpers may only be replaced by similar style OEM bumpers. May not extends past front or rear fender panels. No cutting or altering of OEM bumpers.
BATTERY
Battery may remain in factory location and be securely mounted or relocated out of anywhere outside driver's compartment.FUEL CELL - GAUGES
All cars will have the original fuel tank for that year, make, and model mounted in the original OEM position.
All cars with an electric fuel pump must have a ON - OFF switch in easy reach of the driver and yet easily reached by a track official or safety worker.
Only OEM factory stock gauges or basic aftermarket gauges such as oil pressure, oil temp. Etc. will be allowed.
INTERIOR/EXTERIOR REMOVALAll windows must be removed.
All lights, lenses and mirrors must be removed.Only seats, carpet, door panels, headliner and catalytic converter may be removed.
No antifreeze may be run in vehicle. Water only in cooling system.DRIVER / PASSENGER SAFETY:
Full-face racing type helmet with a minimum of SNELL 95 or SA 2000 rating.An approved fire retardant driver’s suit required single or double layer.
Racing gloves & racing shoes required.
Aluminum Racing seat with rib supports required for driver and passenger.
Must have 5 point racing harness.
Driver’s side quick release or push button window net required. Window net required if passenger is riding.
Vehicle must remain factory stock! Nothing else other than what is listed above may be altered, removed, changed, etc.
CLAIM RULE: Any OEM stock may be claimed by the race track for the amount of $1,000. The claim does not include racing seat, 5 point harness, window net, or battery.
